How to delete your DeskFit account
You can permanently delete your DeskFit account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what data is removed, and how long it takes.
Two ways to delete your account
1. Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open DeskFit.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
The app will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.
2. Delete by email
If you cannot access the app:
- Send an email to support@oqapps.pro from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request — DeskFit.
- Include your account email (if different from sender) for verification.
We will verify your identity, delete your account, and confirm by email within 30 days.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently deleted:
- Your account profile (email, name, profile picture)
- All content you created in the app (entries, logs, photos, messages)
- Your preferences, settings, and history
- Authentication credentials
- Personal information stored in connected services (Supabase, OpenAI training-opt-out, Adapty profile, etc.)
What is NOT deleted
Some information is retained as required by law or business necessity:
- Financial records (transaction logs, invoices) — retained up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
- Anonymized analytics — aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you personally.
- Backup data — fully removed from backups within 90 days of deletion.
- Legal records — communications related to disputes, abuse reports, or legal claims may be retained until resolved.
Subscriptions
Important: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play and must be cancelled separately.
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → DeskFit → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DeskFit → Cancel
Timeline
- Day 0: you submit the deletion request.
- Within 24 hours: we acknowledge receipt by email.
- Within 30 days: all personal data is deleted from active systems.
- Within 90 days: all personal data is deleted from backups.
Can I restore my account after deletion?
No. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you change your mind, you can create a new account, but your previous data cannot be recovered.
